Sdg Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing

After being dealt with the Poverty, the food comes another goal to hit β€œGood health and wellbeing” (Sdg Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing). Where there is health, there is wellbeing. The number of childhood deaths has been cut in half from the past 15 years. This clearly says that a fight against diseases is possible to win. Still, people are suffering from conditions that cause premature deaths. An astonishing amount of wealth and resources are used to treat these illnesses.

About 1400 infectious diseases have eaten up the human population globally. Overcoming this will require sustained efforts so that no region is neglected. This sustainable development goal of health and wellness aims to promote disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, technological health care interventions, and access to safe, effective, and affordable medications and vaccines for everyone. It also calls for more research and development, increased health financing, and strengthened the capacity of all countries in health risk reduction and management. Apart from taking personal and public actions, what technology can do to spread health and wellbeing is worth watching. Space technology can study disease epidemiology, disease controlling area monitoring, monitoring factors related to health care to assist the practitioners about preventive measures. The goal has set few targets to hit.

The first target is reducing the global maternal mortality ratio to less than 70 per 100,000 births and neonatal mortality lower than age 5 to 12 per 1000 lives. It strengthens the prevention of substance abuse, epidemics of AIDS, Hepatitis, tropical diseases. By 2030, one more target is to ensure universal access to sexual reproductive healthcare services, family planning, information, strategies, and financial risk protection programs for all. It substantially minimizes the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous pollutants. For assessing health coverage, strengthen the implementation of the World Health Organization Framework in all countries. Together we can ensure healthy lives and wellbeing, not just by staying fit and clean but by ensuring the implementation of targets that have been set so that no human and no community is left alone.
